游戏简介：在新的故事中，自成为最强大海盗的Guybrush Threepwood和他的新娘Elaine Marley执政官渡完了蜜月之后，回到了Melee岛时竟然发现Elaine已经被宣告死亡。这个错误的宣告结束了Elaine作为执政官余下的任职期限，所以她现在必须来揭穿掌握着黑暗秘密的纨绔子弟Charles L的整个阴谋。除了[b]政治[/b]上的阴谋以外，在Tri岛上的海盗全部被一个名叫Ozzie Mandrill的澳大利亚探险家收买了，整个岛可以说是变成了一座犯罪者的乐园。这两方面的人都好想都在寻找一个叫做最终凌辱的有着巫术力量的石器。这些事情表面看上去他们并没有太大的关系，但Guybrush必须在最终凌辱落入这些坏人之手之前找到它，并且帮助Elaine阻止岛上居民的迁移。为了达到目的，Guybrush 必须围绕着他的老巢Melee岛在加勒比海的各个岛屿进行着一次次探险。这次他将去Jambalaya岛（这座岛有大狒狒控制着和Lucre岛，重新回到了猴岛。游戏中的许多场景对于那些玩过这个系列的老玩家来说是非常熟悉的，当然还有众多的角色LeChuck、Murray the skull、Herman Toothrot、Otis、Carla、Meathook都会客串登场。实际上，还有许多老玩家喜欢的配角也会出现。　 [/color]
